Propulsion sets world record at Aby in $418,000 final - October 1, 2019
DAMIEN JOINED THE HISTORIC SEVEN-FIGURE CLUB, SELLING FOR $1 MILLION. Damien, by Muscle Hill out of Danae, is a full brother to international $3 million-earner Propulsion as well as stakes-winner Dream Together. He is a half-brother to stakes-winner D’Orsay. He was purchased by Bengt Agerup’s Brixton Medical AB and will be trained by Daniel Reden, who also trains Propulsion for Brixton subsidiary Stall Zet. Propulsion wins dramatic Masters-final - September 7th, 2019
Propulsion, driven by Ôrjan Kihlström, won the European Trotting Masters final with a winner’s purse $190,000 dollars at Vincennes, Paris Saturday afternoon (September 7). However, just 100 yards before the finish line it, looked as the French trotting gelding Cleangame with trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire was going to win. But Cleangame suddenly went off stride and Propulsion managed to hold off a late charge from the French mare, Bahia Quesnot with trainer/driver Junior Guelpa to win. Read More

Woodbine Mohawk Park hosted a 13-race qualifying session on Tuesday (July 9), and the docket featured no less than eight races for two-year-olds. Two of the best trotters in the world invited the audience to a great show in Åby Stora Pris at Åby racetrack, Mölndal, Sweden on Saturday afternoon.
American bred Propulsion (Muscle Hill) and Swedish star Readly Express (Ready Cash) were the two main combatants in the race, which had new structure and shape this year. Instead of two heat races over the mile, Åby Stora Pris is now one race over 3,140 meters, approximately 1.9 miles where the winner was offered $220,000. Read More

Dream Together - Muscle Hill - Danae 3, 1:53.2 f ($459,859) set the tone when she sustained a 3-wide bid on the final turn and won the $186,600 Matron for trotting fillies in a three-horse blanket finish. Dream Together surged ahead of pace setter Evelyn (Andy Miller) and first-over favorite Ice Attraction (Ake Svanstedt) in the shadow of the wire to win by a nose in 1:53.2 on a cold and windy night at the 5/8-mile oval.

Deschanel cruised home in a 6 + length win in the third leg of the KYSS in 1:57, with Jeff Gregory in the bike! We are pleased that the homebred will be in the KYSS final on September 17th at The Red Mile. Propulsion made it look easy, trotting under a hand drive in 1:49.3 today on a wet track in the Hugo Abergs Memorial at Jagersro track in Sweden, Propulsion bested the field becoming the 2nd fastest trotter ever after Sebastian K. This is the 2nd year in a row now that Propulsion has won the Hugo Abergs Memorial on the 5/8ths track, with driver, Orjan Kihlstrom in the bike. Jerry Riordan trained Ringostarr Treb and Twister Bi were 2nd and 3rd respectively. Congratulations to Stall Zet and Team Reden!
Dream Together in Hambletonian Oaks Final! - Jul 25th, 17
Danae's 3 year old Muscle Hill filly, Dream Together, drew the 2 hole for the 2017 edition of the $500,000 Hambletonian Oaks Final to be held at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday, August 5th. Trained by Luc Blais and owned by Determination Stable of Quebec, the lightly raced filly was 2nd to Ariana G , with Dan Dube in the bike, in her elimination on July 29th. The full sister to Fortunes of Fables, another Cane Run Farm and Bluestone Farms jointly owned mare, Feed Your Head, drew the 7 hole (also 2nd in her elimination). Trained by Jimmy Takter, Tim Tetrick will take the reins for this Bluestone Farms bred filly. Best of luck to all for an exciting and competitive 2017 Oaks!

PA foals arrive in KY! - Jul 1st, 17
We are excited for the arrival of several foals from our 2017 foal crop in Kentucky today! Traveling from Bluestone Farms in New Jersey, the jointly owned Danae, Bar Slide, Bright Baby Blues, All Star Hanover, Possess Me, and Spice Girl and their 2017 foals arrived at Cane Run Farm. The mares are here for their 180 day KY residency program for their 2018 pregnancies. We are excited and proud to support the KY Sire Stakes program held at the Red Mile and the resulting foals will be dually eligible to compete in those races. Welcome to the Bluegrass!
Propulsion 2nd in Elitlopp Final! - May 29th, 17
Propulsion has really made his mark on the European trotting scene! The 6 year old Muscle Hill stallion, out of Danae, was 2nd in the 2017 Elitlopp to Timoko on Sunday at Solvalla. Resolve took 3rd, Bold Eagle, the Prix D'Amerique and French trotting Triple Crown winner was 4th. Nuncio, who won the 2016 Elitlopp was 5th in the 2017 final.
Propulsion is owned by Stall Zet, trained by Daniel Reden, with Johan Untersteiner in the bike, he was also 2nd in his elimination to Nuncio. Following Bold Eagle in the final, he made his move, passing Bold Eagle, and was closing fast on the well rated French star, Timoko, at the finish. We look forward to watching more exciting races with the Cane Run and Bluestone Farms bred star!
Danae delivers full brother to Propulsion - Mar 13th, 17
Cane Run Farm and Bluestone Farms welcomed a full brother to Propulsion on 3-10-17, born in Pennsylvania at Marion Farms. With the PA incentive program, mares in foal to PA stallions reside there for 180 days and foal there as well. Shortly afterwards, completing her residency, the 2007 Hambletonian Oaks champion, Danae, and her colt returned to Bluestone Farms nearby in Hopewell, New Jersey.
Propulsion in the 2017 Prix D'Amerique! - Jan 30th, 17
Propulsion raced well in the grueling Prix D'Amerique, the 2700 meter race was held at Vincennes Racetrack in Paris, France on Sunday. Finishing 4th, he was making his move around the final turn in the 18 horse field, when he had to pull back slightly as another competitor's wheel went inside his own. Luckily there were no issues and he recovered to place 4th. French star, Bold Eagle, dominated the race, winning back to back editions in an exciting race.

Dream Together sweeps Pure Ivory - Aug 16th, 16
The combination of driver Sylvain Filion and trainer Luc Blais has been red hot lately at Mohawk Racetrack and Monday night (Aug. 15) was no different, as they teamed up to capture the Pure Ivory Series final and Preferred Trot. A field of seven 2-year-old trotting fillies competed in the $28,490 Pure Ivory Series finale. Blais trainee Dream Together entered the final off a pair of victories in the preliminary legs. Propulsion victorious in 1:50.4! - Jul 27th, 16
Propulsion wins the 2016 Hugo Aberg Memorial at Jagersro track in Malmo Sweden. He continues to improve and earns a new record of 1:50.4 contested over a mile distance (1609m) on the 5/8ths mile track with the victory! Congratulations to Stall Zet and Team Reden!
Propulsion in the 2016 Elitlopp - May 30th, 16
Propulsion has really come along well under the direction of Daniel Reden for Stall Zet. The 5 year old Muscle Hill son received his first invitation to the prestigious Elitlopp this year! He was 3rd in his eliminate. Nuncio was the winner of the final, and Propulsion put in a good effort, coming from behind, making up a lot of ground to finish 4th. Trainer, Reden noted that Propulsion keeps improving, and next year he should be even better. We look forward to keeping an eye on Propulsion's overseas adventures! Best of luck with him!

2015:
2015 Racing Roundup - Nov 10th, 15
Cane Run Farm breds Bright Baby Blues, Habitat, and Sliding Home capped off a highly successful 2015 racing season. Habitat ends the year with over 1.2 million in earnings, 2nd in the American National on 11/7/15. Sliding Home is placed 1st in the International Stallion Stake during Grand Circuit in Lexington and goes on to finish 3rd in the Breeder's Crown Final for 2 year old trotting colts, boosting his earnings to $255,942. Finally, his big sister, Bright Baby Blues caps off her racing career in style with a mark of 1:54.2s and earnings of $492, 203 with a 3rd place finish in the KY Filly Futurity, wins in the Circle City and Crossroads of America stakes, and was a close 2nd in the American National. We are proud of this gritty filly and to add her to our broodmare band; she'll be bred to Cantab Hall in 2016.
